Dorothy Wood, Director of Arts at the Woodroffe School, Dorset was searching for a partner school from a country that wasn’t ‘your usual tourist holiday location’. We introduced her to Sarah Ayuk Effimbi from Buea in Cameroon, they worked together and Dorothy soon arranged an exchange.
In Buea Dorothy learnt about the history of the country from the local mayor and met the tribal chief. She attended a traditional wedding and climbed up Mount Cameroon and stood on its 10 mile long lava flow.
